That's right folks, I watched it! The royal wedding, except I taped it...So technically I wasn't one of those silly people who stayed up late, or fell asleep trying to stay up late to watch this blessed event.
I was able to sleep and then get everyone off to school, then sit down with my remote and watch it how I wanted to...RIGHT! No, I have a college boy home who insisted on watching ever blumin' thing!
Every time they sang another song, I would try to fast forward this 6 hour event...But there was some yelling, screaming and gnashing of teeth coming from the recliner...any guesses to who?
But I did it anyways...it's my remote!
We both were very impressed with the elegance of gown and the modest dress her sister wore. Yes, my son thinks he is going to marry her...Someone needs to knock some sense into him!
The little whispers from the Prince to his new bride were priceless as was the tender kisses that they shared with the world.
After 2 1/2 hours (not 6...I fast forward...remember!) It was another fairy tale to write down in the books.
I wonder whose fairy tale will be next?
