The Hunt

Let me give you a little background on how our family does Easter.  We go to church and partake of the sweet spirit it brings and then depending on what we are cooking and the time we have the hunt.  We were waiting for dinner to finish and decided it was best to do the hunt before dinner this year, clouds were rolling in.
When the boys were younger we hid the eggs so you could see them (aka Josh's style), then when they hit mutual age, it got a little harder.  So by the time HS age hits, they have to hunt.  We give them a color and tell them how many.  This year it was 4 eggs they needed to find.  Once they found their 4 eggs they were able to find their bonus green egg and blue egg.  Nothing special inside, just candy and chocolate.
Now the pictures:
This is during the hunt.  Charlie has a new camera and loves taking pictures. (visit his blog!)
Because Charlie knows how things roll, he gets a little aggressive with this poor bush and kicks it to see if any eggs drop down.  Yes, we've hidden the eggs there before.  But if you look really closely, you will see a yellow egg hidden in the fence right behind Charlie...This was the last egg he found...
Here it is...but he still can't find it!
Jacob wasn't too happy about having to find them a little harder then last year. He finally found his last egg here.
Charlie actually doing the happy dance because he found his first and was the winner this year! (no, competition here....hahah)
Jacob came in 2nd while Bryant could only find his three...where could the last one be?
The WINNER and the L...ser!
It was awesome.  Josh only came out to find one or two eggs which we thought was amazing since he really hasn't been feeling good all week.
