A Little Bit of New York (part 1)

Doug and I had the opportunity to travel to New York for Charlie and Emily's ring ceremony.  Well, we took an extra day just so we could go exploring.  It was a bitter sweet vacation since we had never gone on an airplane together or without children in all the 27 years we have been married. It was a well worth adventure and I'm looking forward to more adventures and little vacations.
The first day we were able to travel from Rochester to Niagara Falls.  What a beautiful creation that was.  We did all the tourist things.  We saw the whirlpool, hiked the falls, road the maid of the mist and took lots of pictures.  Here are some of our favorite:
 The whirlpool

Our cool shoes to hike in

You got to feel hurricane rain and wind here.  It was awesome.

A stick to throw into the water, just for our love-bug

We were this close

Excuse the hair...it got a little wet

My phone is the bomb for taking this :)

The bridge to cross over to Canada.  We didn't have passports, but maybe next time.
