Good Bye 2013.."Slow and Steady for 2014"

It has been a year.
We will start with the head of the house and work down from there.
Yes, this is kinda like our Christmas letter...just late...oh well...
Doug - Finally after 4 years was given full time employment at a totally different school district, just down the street.  He was also called as the Ward Clerk of our ward. He is such a wonderful help on the weekends and during breaks with Joshua.  He is also helping out with a wood project for me.
Pam - Was just barely released as Gospel Doctrine teacher (after 3 years) and called to be the building scheduler for the stake center. Josh is my full time job, still.  But I've enjoyed going to ballroom competitions as well as school activities with the boys.  I've also had the opportunity to see family in Az a couple of times.
Charlie - He is in his final year at BYU. He was given the opportunity to travel to Europe and compete with the BYU Ballroom standard team and win the International Formation title.  So cool. He also went to Spain, France, Italy, Germany and a couple more I can't remember.  Charlie has loved being on the touring team.  He also has been dating a little sweetheart (more news to follow)
Joshua - Has been in the hospital less this year then last, so a blessing? He has really struggled with medication and feeling good.  We were so blessed not to have him in the hospital this December.  It is the first time since we moved to Utah, so a small miracle.  I would say that each day he is with us is a miracle in itself.
Bryant - Was released honorably from his mission for medical reasons.  This has been a challenge for Bryant to get back into the "normal" life when he absolutely loved the people in Minnesota.  He has been able to purchase a car to begin his credit line and also find a pretty good job that allows him up to 34 hours of work.  Now this next year he will need to make some big steps in starting school and figuring out what the future holds for him.
Jacob - Is in his senior year.  He is taking a full load at the HS and also 2 college classes. Jacob wanted to beat his brothers in "cording" and he will at the end of the school year.  I believe he will be getting 2 more cords then Charlie, but I could be wrong...you'll have to ask Jacob.  He is also working 20 hours a week and excited to go out for a new sport, Ultimate Frisbee.  Yes, they have teams here. Jacob's goal this year is to be asked and to go to all the dances at his HS if possibly, so far..we are on track.

As you can see our family has been busy and had it's ups and downs.  But through it all our love has grown for each other as well as our faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ.  We are so blessed to have the gospel and we try to enjoy each moment.
So heres to the past...(cheers) now onto the present.
