He turned half a century! (yes, I know it's late)

The boys the night before decorated the cars and the house with 50 black balloons, black streamers and black ribbons.  Even though Doug caught them doing it, he was a pretty good sport about the whole thing.
We cooked Doug some of his favorites for his birthday; steak, zucchini and potatoes.  For dessert he wanted cake balls, which in our house is a joke because I usually forget about them in the refrigerator until a month later.  So this time I started a day earlier, but then Josh had emergency surgery...well, let's just say there are still awaiting being formed and consumed.
Bry was over at a very generous friends house fixing Charlie's car, so we opened presents a little late.  Doug was a good sport and enjoyed his new cloths and tools.
Happy Birthday Doug~
