Stars and Stipes

At the end of the year, BYU's ballroom teams (yes, all of them) put on an awesome concert.

The teams include:

Tour (fingers crossed!)

Back-up

1:00

2:00 and 3:00

Some people move up the totem pole, while others are placed on back up for a year and then with hope and prayers make tour.  You have to be on back up for a year before tour...it's the law.

Anyways, at the concert each of the teams perform routines with beautiful costumes.

Tour usually does more with great formations.  Did you know they are the US National Undefeated formation team...cool huh?!

Back up does a couple of formation dances.  Charlie was in 3 out of the 4 and boy...can he shake it!

Then the other teams each do one number.

They all come together for a finale where Charlie could do a number of things.  He found out that he is basically a walking circus thanks to his father.

Charlie can juggle, ride a unicycle, walk on stilts, roller blade (he did that last year).  So this year, he and 2 other silly young men walked on stilts.  It was amazing as always.  No video, sorry, it's illegal to take...but I was able to go down to the floor and take some pics of Charlie on his stilts.

 Doug was at the hospital with Josh, Bryant brought a date and Jacob and I chilled together. Yes, Bry hardly ever takes a serious picture.

 Charlie is finally taller then Bryant...You can almost tell where his feet are if you look close.
