Yes, I am the carver of the family. Doug guts it all all, I cook the seeds and usually the boys pick out what they want on their pumpkins...but schedule was a little busy and the boys didn't really care. So I picked. I do have to admit, my Turkey looks rather good!
Some might ask....what is Jacob suppose to be...Toy Story 3...Ken...he was hoping a YW that he knows would go as barbie...but that didn't happen. Some said he looked like the person off of Glee...who knows...by the end, he rolled down his pants and took the scarf off...Needs to get more courage to pull that off again.
Bryant, well, he had many parties...This is just one of 3 looks he did. The first look that he wore to school was Captain Jack Sparrow. Doug even drew on the tattoo...it was awesome. Then for the ward party he was as "Bernardo" in West Side Story...since that is who he is. Right after the ward party was the big choir party. This is when all of Doug's talent came into play. That's right...the old man look...CLASSIC!
Doug pulled out the suit, cane and bow tie and Great Grandpa's hat (with tape to protect it from the white hair spray). Then of course Doug started on the make-up. It was awesome!
Bry was soo excited when he got home. He took the prize for best costume!
YAH!
Sometimes it does pay to have a Dad as a theatre teacher with emphasis on makeup and set building!
