You might ask yourself...why bubble wrap? I ask my boys to please wrap themselves in this while my attention is on another...but do they really listen...NOPE!
You might ask yourself, why is she blogging this...let me tell you. For the count Josh has now been in the hospital 5 times since we moved to Utah. His stay in the hospital equals the amount of time he spent in the hospital in GJ. Bryant has broken something 2x while Josh has been in the hospital. The first was his knee, the end of 9th grade year (when Josh was on his 2nd trip to Primaries)...so...heres how the story goes:
Josh had a rough night and is barely eating jello, when I get a text from Bryant saying, "You know when you told us not to break anything with Josh being in the hospital?" I text back..."Are you joking"....his reply..."I think I broke my nose"...
Do you cry at this point or laugh? I then text Doug (good thing we have technology) and tell him to check Bryant out ASAP. Bry is asking for some Tylenol and I keep saying...are you sure it's broken...take a picture. No sympathy here...I really want to see if it's broken. What else can I do? I don't have a car at the hospital, I can't leave Josh... So Bryant picks Jacob up from school and then Jacob with his phone takes the picture. It doesn't look pretty.
Doug calls after work and asks what's going on...so I tell him. He then takes Bryant to Urgent Care and I wait, and wait...feed Josh and wait some more. Then I get a text from Bryant saying they are on their way up to the hospital and they will tell me the results then.
Seriously, I need to wait...?
They come in and Bry doesn't look to good or to happy...Not good news. Doug pulls out a CD saying it has the x-ray on it and that Bryant will need to see a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist....it's broken!
It would be different if it were a little bent...but today you can tell...it's like a curve in a straight road. It starts out being straight, then takes a curve, then back to being straight. His eyes are getting a little more blackish color...So No, he didn't listen to the bubble wrap! Bryant will be getting his nose set (or as a brother called it, a nose job) on Friday.
I'm just hoping the other 2 will please wrap themselves up and just give me a little break! PLEASE!
Josh will be in the hospital til at least Friday...

Man, talk about wanting some attention! :) That is rough! maybe you could build a padded room and whenever you are gone you could just lock your guys in there. Wrapped in bubble wrap of course!
Bry just needed some extra TLC. Maybe you should do something so you can actually rest somewhere. Our prayers are with you

I totally wanna see the picture Jacob took. If it looks really bad I'll show it to my boys--they would love being grossed out.
So, how did Bry do it? Did he get in a fight over a girl? That would be romantic--though super inconvenient. Hope the nose job goes well and Bry feels better soon.
