In a previous post, I had dark clouds. Well, after Saturday's news...I couldn't believe that it was happening again. Yup, story time:
Charlie went to GJ on Thursday to visit some close friends...
His car gave him problems 90 miles from GJ.
Had to have his car towed.
Friday we heard that basically his car needed a new engine that was worth more then the car.
Left the car in GJ for scaps!
Doug and Jacob drove to GJ on Saturday to pick Charlie up.
Left GJ around 1ish.
2:15 I get a call from Doug saying they had been in an accident.
.......
Doug was in the passenger seat asleep.
Jacob in the back seat
Charlie driving and fell asleep for 5 seconds or less.
This is where the angels took over!
No other car was involved. They didn't roll the car.
No one was hurt!
The car is a mess, but they were able to drive it home.
The tires didn't get hurt, The engine is fine.
It's just all cosmetic for the car. Looks terrible.
BUT...I have my 3 boys/men alive!
They hit guard rails, went across traffic (there was no one in the way)
bounced off one thing, hit another.
But I have my family together all in one piece.
Prayers are answered. My family is safe and together.
Worldly stuff doesn't matter today.

Oh my garwsh! Pam, that is just plain crazy! I am so glad everyone is fine, and the car damage is great for a conversation starter.
okay, not 10 sec, more like 4 or 5, 10 sec would have jammed us in a ditch and blown the engine up but ya, cant sleep in a car even if I try now

Whew! So glad they're safe.
Thank goodness they are all okay!! Somebody was absolutely watching over them.
Oh my goodness. When it rains it pours! But what a blessing that all were protected! So scary!! I once watched Stan fall asleep while he was driving. Needless to say, I don't ever sleep while he is driving.
I started crying just thinking about it and what it must have been like for all of you! I'm SOOO very grateful everyone is okay. Love you all!
I am so glad that they are OK and home! Just make all the boys stay home now!! You are an amazing strong person!
So, that's what happened! We noticed the bumper was missing yesterday. Grateful that everyone is safe and ok.
