It was yummy!

Doug and I have been trying to venture out and try new resturants in Utah. I've heard some of the members in our ward talk about "Leatherby's" ...it's an ice-cream/sandwhich family friendly place. So last Friday night (date night) we went there. Yup, reminded us of a soda outlet. So, we ordered some yummy sandwhiches, watched some teenagers flirt with the waiter...lovin it! Then our food came. I couldn't finish my sandwhich, so Doug ate it. The waiter came over and made some suggestions about the ice-cream since we had never been there. I got the Peanut Butter fudge yumminess, Doug got the Apple Pie Sundae...

When they came out...HOLY MOLY! They were hudge! The sauce was drippin over the top of the sundae onto the plate underneath. Now for those of you who know me, know that I have a little OCD problem with messes..Yah! When the waiter, poor guy, put my dessert down, I froze! I had no idea how to eat something like that without it making more of a mess. I looked around at others who were eating their desserts and it didn't bother them that every time you stuck your spoon in the glass dish, the sauce would spill over or drip onto the table as you attempted to put it into your mouth. AHHHHH! Doug of course is laughing. The waiter asked what was wrong, and Doug told him I didn't like messes. He replied, "more the messier, the better tastin." YAH, RIGHT! Doug had no problem getting "into" his dessert. As neat as I could, I ate mine, then we asked for take home cups. Doug did that part, I didn't want to touch the messy glasses...I know some of you are saying, "get a grip!"...AHHHH! Even with the messy/yummy dinner/dessert...Doug and I left laughing and enjoyed a wonderful night together.

It got better once we got home. Josh jumped up to greet us and promptly took our dessert!
