Last night was Bry's first concert at WJHS. It was awesome. Their uniforms are modest (go figure) and sharp looking...I do have to say! Bry was in full tux with polished shoes..NICE! We haven't been to a choir concert since leaving GJ as a whole family, due to Josh being sick..blah, blah...and Doug not being involved with lighting and all that sorts. Although he would have loved to help out with the lights, sounds..especially the mics...anyways.....
Josh was of course hystarical! Doug said as they were walking to find Jacob and I, Josh was giggling and shaking with excitment. As they sat down, Josh had a huge grin and litterally was shaking...we gave him some squishes and that seems to calm the excited shakes. Then of course as the concerts begin, you have those grown-ups and teenagers that haven't quiet learned how to act during a concert performance. Whether it's getting up in the middle of a song, finding their seats in the middle of a song, yelling a name in the middle of a song...yes, these items get to us a little. Especially Josh...As names were being yelled...Josh thought it was okay to yell the names also...so we (good parents, that know how to act) covered his mouth and told him that he could clap at the end and needed to use his quiet voice. He was alright with this most of the time. We did have bribs to give to him when the audience was louder then the choir...GRRR!
The fun part was seeing Josh try to take a picture of himself. Picture this....Josh holding the camera up enough to see his relection on the screen of the camera...He's smiling big, looking at his teeth and saying cheese. Classic! He lasted the whole 1 1/2 hours.

I was half expecting Josh to turn around and tell eneryone to be quiet.
Must have been some pretty darn good music to keep Josh entertained.
Good job Bry!!
