This is the love of my life. He had a birthday recently, but that day was full of meetings/feeding the missionary, meetings...etc...you get the picture. Doug's birthday was Sunday, and I feel so bad for not posting this earlier...but life is full of fun. I have had my sweet husband for over 22 years...and yes, right now...he is 7 years older then me...mwahahah!
He is a wonderful father, friend, and fills my soul with all the love that is needed. We gave him some safety glasses, that he really wanted...we actually went over board and got him more then a couple of pair. You see he had some picked out on line, so I decided to get at least 1 of each kind he chose...what do I know. Then we got him a puzzle (he loves those) and an awesome book about "Wicked"..with costumes, sets, you know...theatre stuff.
Sunday morning he went with the boys to the general Priesthood session along with cinnamon rolls I had made...I think that made him happy. Then he and Bry went to listen to Charlie speak in another ward. Doug then went to his normal meetings, I went to my meetings...Doug then taught his class and went home to be with Josh. We then cooked I think one of his favorite meals...London Broil with the missionaries eating with us. Needless to say, our Sundays are not slow moving.
That was the extent of the celebrations. WHEW!
