History

I've learned a valuable lesson. Journal writing is important. Why? I didn't really know until Jacob had to pick an ancestor to write about. Actually, he needed to find the "first" ancestor we have that came to Utah. Okay, this is was a joke in finding since both sides (both grandparents) have very important pioneers that helped with the settleing of Utah. It would take many, many hours and deligence to see who exactly was first...to many to choose between. We do have dates of many, but with all those wives, children, relatives...WHEW...so he picked one and wrote on his paper, that there was too many to choose from and that is why he chose who he did. This got me to reading my grammy's calendar. I only have 2 years of calendar writing, but she wrote down something almost everyday on it and then some side notes. My mother does the same thing, I think she has more. So because I'm very bad at this...I've decided (again) to start a log from the time we moved to Utah. I know there were some wonderful memories in CO that I might summerize and some memories, I will choose not to remember or write about even though some might think I need to. Right now those memories are still painful to remember...but I'm excited to get into this...the problem is when....I have loads of time...hahah! I really want to do this though, so I'm making time. (at least right now, that is how I'm thinking)
