Jacob has taken a liking to a homeroom class called "Mock Trial" . In this class you study cases and then audition to either be the lawyers or the defenses attorneys. For this one particular case, Jacob was chosen to be one of the lawyers. With wonderful advice from his favorite Uncle Brad, Jacob went into his first competition with great confidence. And......THEY WON! Midvale Middles school has never won a Mock Trial in the first round...so it was pretty exciting. Jacob scored 7 and 8's out of 10 for his work as a lawyer, which wasn't to bad for his first time. His next competition is in 2 weeks where he will be one of the defense attorneys. Maybe, there will be another lawyer in the family...heehee!
