7 towns in 7 hours

It was only 26 degrees!

On Friday Doug and the boys had off. So our family was very fortunate to go to the Draper temple. This is the frist time Josh has actually been able to go through. We left the house a little before 9 and Josh was excited to "go to church", then it became "going to the temple". We got there and parked in a very sweet parking place, they brought out the wheel-chair for Josh to use and it was going pretty smooth...until.....we went into the room to watch the video about temples. Yup, that is where they lost Josh...he was done...Doug was very kind and took Josh out of the temple and kept him occupied while I took the other 2 boys through (this would be Jacob's 2nd time). It was beautiful. Wood work and stained glasses were amazing. After we went through we headed to Provo...that is where you go through/pass at least 7 towns..haha! We got into Provo about 11ish and began our search for Charlie's apt for the fall...holy moly! Such choices...yikes. All were very kind in letting us see their rooms...flyers were collected and now the decision needs to be made while rooms are available. We ate lunch at good ole "chucks" and then drove home. We were home by 4! Went out to eat with some wonderful friends and then...well, we were tired...it was a full day...That's Utah for ya!

What a great experience! I just can't believe that it has been almost 2 years for Charlie. I wish we could be there to see him speak. I hope you know and understand that although many of us Roberts' aren't able to make the trip up for these types of occasions that we love and support your sweet family in all that you do.

It looks cold!! My girls had shorts on today--hopefully this doesn't mean the end of pants already!
