We all know that Josh is having a hard time. Let me clue you all in of the events that have occured:
- 1 week prior to school, Josh goes to his classroom and the "new" teachers loudly introduce themselves. (Josh doesn't like noise)
- First day of school...all florescent lights on, 20 some odd classmates, some new some old....did I say it was loud and bright.
- Didn't go back, had a rough time, he wanted to see Dad (AKA working in Utah after giving Central High School 13 years!!!)
- Had a hard time at lunch...oh wait...that's when Dad would eat with him...nope, so made contact with fist to an aide
- Didn't go back until the next week (2nd week that is)
- Tried it again, did kind of good. They put him in a "quiet" room...oh wait, that's right next to Dad's old office and the lunchroom...who in the right mind would place him there...with all the lights on again...nothing set on low
- Kept him home a couple of days....Tried it again on Friday (I'm also in contact with the physican who is adjusting meds)
- Friday, went well until oh wait...LUNCH....he took off and made physical contact with the teacher. Was called and 3 of the 4 "wonderful" administration were present. I asked them what was going to be done. They said they needed to review and speak with the head of special ed over high schools. Now Josh does have a behavior management plan...
- After speaking with her, she was nice and wasn't told Dad had worked at CHS for 13 years, told her that we withdrew Josh and wanted nothing more to do with that school or the adminstration....So today I get his suspension letter. You read right....THEY SUSPENDED JOSH!!! I mean, he's a normal kid, house is not boxed up, His dad, and 2 brothers are always here at home and not in another state/country....GRRRRR....WHO THE HECK WOULDN'T BE TICKED!!!!!
So I decided to show you all this wonderful letter of suspensions...hmmmm...could we do a lawsuit?

Pam, I can't begin to tell you how angry this makes me! I don't know how you can deal with a school that is so unsympathetic! Even with Doug there, it would have been difficult for me.
I know a child advocate if you want to take this further and have someone else do the phone calls and such.
This move is at just the right time!
Linda
Please do something...anything...so that this doesn't happen to anyone else without the strength and fortitude that you have. You and your family are in our prayers, our fasting and quite often in the temple! Love you sis!
Take it to the newspapers!! Let as many people as you can know the truth of what is taking place. There must be some group that will support you - legally - law suit - whatever. If you don't move forward, someone else will get the same shaft. How can they suspend a kid that does not even know what he did?
Prayers are with you. We love you - Dad
I just want to cry, ok I am. This is so Sad, Frustrating, Mindboggling...Pam you are an amazing woman. They are going to wish they never messed with you and your family. Go get 'em.
We are praying for you all.
As you know I love a good fight. That is totally out of control. Do we need some training????
Ok, Aaron's all fired up now. That is totally ridiculous!!! He's whipping out his law book and rules something or other! What's the address? Email address? Phone number? We're on your team! I agree with Crystal too...do we need combat training for this?!
The letter give the address...sure, write them, call them...call the newspaper...read it through. They suspended him on the 28th...he wasn't even at school!!!
