Our 28th Anniversary happened. Doug is so sweet and got me some beautiful earrings, flowers, card and some yummy chocolate covered strawberries. I'm one lucky women to have found such a man to treat me so wonderfully.
Since it was just Doug and I, we went and decorated Josh's grave. The blue heart was filled with Toy Story stickers. Boy, do I miss him.
These two adventured down to Moab to start on their summer bucket list.
It was definitely a weekend to remember and ponder on loved ones who had fought for our freedoms as well as those loved ones who were not here in both spirit and the physical. I'm finding out sometimes being an empty nester is sometimes lonely and too quiet.
