Jacob finally received his mission clearance by all doctors. Thank heavens. Then he went into to speak to the Stake President to get the ball rolling for a return to the mission field. The Stake President said to continue to work because it could take any where from 3 to 6 weeks depending on where they would assign Jacob. Well...it came a week later. Doug actually received the phone call with both the new Mission President and the Stake President on the phone. They needed Jacob to serve in the LA California Spanish speaking mission as soon as he could. What? Wait...I'm not ready to send him...well...I didn't have a choice...and Jacob was ready. He told his work Friday would be his last day and we frantically got everything (or at least we hoped) Saturday. Charlie and Emily came up for his setting apart on Sunday and early Monday morning the 27th of April Elder Roberts entered the mission field, aka...the C.L.A.M
