We had a little different Easter this year. Of course because of the circumstance, but also because Jacob had to be to work by 6. I wanted him still to be included in the activities and family togetherness. We did pretty good too, I think. The only thing we did't get to do because of Doug's calling was going to the grave and decorating it. I was a little upset, I won't lie, but there wasn't anything we could do about it with our time crunch.
Anyways...while I was getting dinner on, (after church)
Doug went out to hide the eggs. Now in our family we give each person a color to find. Each egg has just good jellybeans...that's it, nothing special. Well this year we had two extra egg colors. So everyone decided the rules which were:
1st you had to find all of your egg color which was about 6 eggs.
Show them to Mom
Then find any of the eggs that weren't assigned to anyone.
Let's just say, it's pretty funny watching the boys and Emily scramble to find them.
So... the results...
1st Place finding his own...but 2nd over all.
2nd Place finding her own, but 1st over all. That's right folks, Emily found the most :)
These two were 3rd and THE HAPPY person...hahah!
