We do have wonderful freedoms. Many women and men have served to help us achieve and maintain this freedom, for which I am very grateful.
Today has been a busy day. We are trying to sell some items (couch, bikes) just to help out with finances and stuff. Then we started to put up a pool. That's right folks, after 20+ years, we got a cute little above the ground pool for the backyard. It took almost all morning/afternoon to figure the thing out. Then the filling of the water...that took forever also. I think it might need a little bit more, but by the time the family BBQ happened the pool was 80% and covered. Let me tell you it's ice cold to. We need some good days of sun before this white mother gets in. Holy smokes! But it will be a fun addition I think this summer. We might even attempt to get Joshua in it.
Then we had a wonderful BBQ with Doug's side of the family. It was great! I think it should be a tradition...Memorial Day BBQ at the Doug Robert's house...what do you think?
Any and all are invited but never required to come.

Joshua even stayed (in Dad's chair) during 3/4 of the families visit. I would say it was a very productive and wonderful day.
