Doug was put on part-time instead of full time and thankfully found another job to try and fill in the void of a full time employment paycheck. This also effect our health insurance...don't ask! He was released as Ward Mission Leader and so far is directing our Wards play in April (of course with the help of his wife) I found a job that would work around Josh. I work in the SL temple as an on call cafeteria worker and love it! I was also after sooooo many years finally released as YW president and called as...(now no laughing) a Gospel Doctrine teacher...I'm still thinking they made a mistake on that one. Charlie bought his first car, competed in many dance competitions and placed pretty good. He moved up in Ballroom to the #3 team (which means it's back-up to the back-up of the touring team) with hopes that he'll be on back-up maybe this fall..fingers crossed. He also was accepted into his major program which is Communication - PR with minors in Italian and Ballroom. Charlie still works as a volunteer coordinator for students with special needs. Josh...he just loved the hospital way to much! He is loving his school and the teachers/aides that work with him. At the end of the year he had major surgery, removal of his colon...that's right, the whole thing! So we are still recovering from that with hopes that this year will bring more happiness. He loved his Christmas as you could tell by the videos taken. Bryant saw the Urgent Care the most. He had a concussion, broken Jaw and a broken nose. He continues to play Lacrosse and be very involved in Choir. Bryant is also 1st Assistant in the Priest Quorum. Wherever Bryant is...there is Girl drama...enough said. Then we have Jacob. He actually grew almost 3 1/2 inches..YIPEEE! He continues to get straight A's and loves Mock trial which is an elective type class where they get to learn all about law and participates in "pretend" court room battles with cases that are not real. This year he will compete as one of the top lawyers and is very excited. Jacob is 1st counselor in the Teachers Quorum.
So, in a nut shell, our lives were pretty busy, they will still be busy...but what's the fun of not having a busy, exciting life. We are grateful that our family was together for the holidays and are looking forward to many more memories to make this year...either good or bad!
~ So bring on 2011! ~
