Summer Competition 2010

Charlie and his partner won 6th place as well as a random summer fun award.

Here Charlie is doing the Mambo and other dances. The picture with the medal is where he one won of his golds or first place with another partner in West Coast Swing (Thank you Grampy for giving him that country)

He's not happy here at all!

Brianna and I got to stay for almost 8 hours watching Charlie in over 8 dances that he competed in at BYU. These were from private lessons as well as classes he took this summer. One of the pictures I don't have is of Charlie and his Special Olympic partner. He was one of the participates in the Special Olympic Ballroom camps there at the Y. It was awesome to see the excitement of their faces and Charlie having a great time. It was very touching to see his tenderness towards these special spirits.
