They are just a whee bit long...good thing I know how to cut and sew to make them fit.
What could it be?
He is very surprised!
Yes, that's right folks...his first "real" bottle of cologne!
For Jacob's birthday we had an adventure and went with some friends to 7 Peaks. Charlie was able to join us around 4ish and that is when the crowd of campers from BYU's camps came...so we just stayed a little longer and then headed toward a famous BYU spot to eat dinner (the friends when home).
We then took Charlie back to his apartment and drove his car to our home to get the check engine light off...little did we know it would take us an additional 2 hours to get home due to the engine running VERY hot. We thankfully had water bottles in the car and made routine stops, when possible to fill up these water bottles, get more water bottles and let the engine cool. Prayers were said and we arrived home pretty late.
After Dad cooled the engine off, which even the water running down the street was hot from the engine (that tells you something) we opened Jacob's presents. We then had to postpone Dad's famous root-beer freezes due to the time of night it was until the next night.
I had told the boys there would be no more soda for them or Dad until after Trek so their bodies could get hydrated.
But...we made an exception and the soda fast started Friday!
I think it was a good day for Jacob...and he was happy!
