How Special A Mom Can Be

This is my Mom, the one that helps me see the light on rough days...

She supports each of her grandchildren as often as possible.

Mom gives unconditional love to his boy of mine..no matter what.

It's such a joy to have her visit when possibly.

Today is my mom's birthday. She is my best friend (not including my other half). She has always put others first, and lends a listening ear when life is rough. You see, my mom lives in another state, which often makes it difficult to tell her or show her how much she means to me and the family. My boys delight whenever they get a chance to visit with her and spend quality time with her. Josh loves to talk with her on the phone, and often talks to her on "his" phone or rather tattles on me. She has supported Doug in almost every musical he has put on both here and in Colorado. Our lunch dates to Applebees is a must and brings such joy when visits are possible. Through hard times, this special mom has taught me the power of faith and prayers and to always go to my Heavenly Father for comfort when she can't be there to give hugs when needed. Her example of temple worthiness, patience, and love is one to always strive for in my life. I just wanted you all to know this special person...Happy Birthday Mom! We love you...TONS and BUNCHES!!!

It is so nice to have a good example on how to be a good mom, not everybody gets that, we that do are lucky girls!
