Truly a Miracle

You never know how greatful you are for your children until one gets sick. I just wanted to thank our family/friends that included Josh in their prayers and fast yesterday. Heavenly Father answered our prayers and Josh was able to be released (with lots of meds/rehab/instructions)this evening. He was so excited, he forgot that his feet don't exactly work perfectly yet. But the computer was back in action. I think he over did it as he threw up on the keyboard while Doug was filling all the major medicines. So we got Josh cleaned up, he's white and very weak and lying on the couch. Now, Josh doesn't like to just lay on the couch, seeing he's been laying in a hospital bed for a full week. Doug finally came home but without one of the medicines. Crap! Target doesn't carry it and needs to order it. It will be in tomorrow afternoon. This is one that is suppose to be taken every 4 hours for his shaking/uncomfortableness...joy! So tomorrow will be interesting and hopefully the throwing up was just because of sitting up for a diration of time, or else we might have to take him back to the hospital. YIKES!
He will be in rehab for the loss of motion until we feel he is back to what we call "normal". We are to keep an eye on his eating/drinking and some how give him loads of medicine plus vitamins. This is Josh, who didn't like taking pills. We might invest in a crusher for the pills! But......we are home and there is no other place to get better then in your own bed.

Pam, Thanks for letting us know how much Josh has improved and that he and you are home from the hospital!!! Miracles do happen and it is nice to be a part of one in our family. We didn't do much, but with many paryers offered in his behalf it shows that he is truly loved and cared about. We were fasting and praying for the rest of the family, as well. Mom and Dad Roberts
