PHONE CALLS....Mom's just love them. So here is how it went. We left church after the sacrament and hooked up the CD recorder (Thanks to a wonderful Music Teacher who let us use it). We tested it out and all was great. The time approached when we thought he would call, and nope....no call....then we all had to use the restroom...of course not wanting to miss the phone call...let's just say it was in record time. Then HE called....wow! Charlie's Italiano is wonderful. He sounded wonderful...it was wonderful! He's doing good, doesn't like to eat rabbit (ask us about that one)...I had asked him to sing a hymn for me for Mother's Day...(just like another Mother I know....) Doug wanted him to bear his testimony....so right before he did these two "little" things for us silly parents...the phone went dead...I mean, nothing. We had problems hearing Charlie throughout the conversation, but this was dead. I was really hoping this wasn't the end of the phone call, with not saying good-byes...that would have been terrible! Nope, he called back and hit the wrong button or something. So he sang ALL 4 VERSES of "I Know That My Redeemer Lives"!!!! Yipeeee! Then wow, his testimony....wow....beautiful....molto buono!
So I decided to share just the 1st verse of this beautiful hymn....ENJOY!

What a wonderful Mother's Day gift. Thank you for sharing it. When I started playing it, everyone came and asked if it was Charlie. We all finished listening together.
Thank you Charlie!

The Hymn was terrific - but where was the testimony??? And what about the rest of the Hymn. It is always great to share the blessings you know. And Thanks to Charlie for sharing with us.
You Cinnamon rolls look great. Love ya - Dad/Grampy
I am so glad that you got all of the call with Charlie! That would have been bad if he hadn't called back! The song was wonderful! Just think you have more boys coming up to share this wonderful time with!
